I find this powder to be cheaper and far more effective than the capsules I was taking. Highly recommend taking with fatty meals for mental acuity (brain food), I'm taking 4-6g with each meal and it's making an amazing difference. The taste (tastes chalky, musty and acidic) is a drawback of the powder form but it's more bearable in a protein shake (or orange juice in a pinch).
